ABOUT US

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

Soma Eastside Church is a non-denominational church in Issaquah united and inspired by the love of Jesus. We believe that Jesus wants us to love each other and serve the region where he has placed us.

Our vision is to partner with other churches, networks, and denominations to plant missional communities and churches in the Pacific Northwest so that everyone in Issaquah and our region can both hear the Gospel and see the Gospel lived out in their community.

Our Story

Soma Eastside Church is the result of three church plants uniting. Alathia Community Church, Summit Community Church, from Issaquah and Emmaus Road Church from Newcastle.  We partner with a number of other churches and organizations in the region for the purpose of training pastors, planting churches, and serving our region.

We gather throughout the Eastside all week as Missional Communites and together on Sunday mornings in August in Confluence Park in Issaquah at 10 am, where we come together to celebrate God’s grace and to be equipped to be Jesus’ church in all of life. *Note in September our Sunday mornings will move back to Pacific Cascade Middle School.
